REVIEW POLICY
On this blog we read ONLY romance of all kinds. From young adult to erotica. We are always on the hunt for our next book boyfriend. (Please note, we DO NOT read fantasy, urban fantasy or science fiction on this blog),
We rate and review each book honestly. Reviews are our personal thoughts andd opinions of the book. We rate on a scale from 1 to 6. with 1 being the lowest, and 6 the highest. 6 stars is VERY rare and not easily earned.
Rating Scale:
- 6 stars ~ ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We won't be forgetting this book any time soon. We will be raving about this book for a long time. (This rating is rare and very hard to earn.)
- 5 stars ~ we absolutely loved the book. The writing style, plot, flow, and characters were all amazing. We can't stop raving about it. A must read for sure! Top Recommendation.
- 4 stars ~ loved it. A really good read. It just didn't have that extra umph to m ake it a 5 star read. We will still recommend it.
- 3 stars ~ It was OK. Not the best, but not the worst either. It had some good qualities about it. But it just wasn't enough or not our cup of tea. We still might recommend it!
- 2 stars ~ We didn't care for it. Something was missing, or it just wasn't for us. However we liked something about it. Maybe we know someone that might like it better, so who knows, it may get mentioned to them.
- 1 star ~ No, we didn't enjoy it for the most part. It probably wasn't for us. Don't think we will be recommending this.
- DNF (did not finish) ~ Sorry, we couldn't finish it. Wasn't for us or we just couldn't get into it. No recommendation coming from us.
We do not get paid for reviews, and we don't lie and say a book was great when it really wasn't. We give our honest feedback without any bashing of the author. We are not that type of blog.
If your book is rated below 3 stars, we will notify you. In the case that this is in ARC, 2 and 1 star reviews will not be posted to retailers until a week after the release date.
As stated above, we don't do any author bashing of any kind. So we ask out of respect that you do not bash or blacklist us in return. Let's please keep it perffessional.
We accept review request from authors and publishers. Due to our schedules and personal lives, it may take up to 3 months for us to read and review your book. However it could also take a week. We ask that you hold off on contacting us about a review at least a month after you have sent your book.
We do not accept all review requests sent our way. That is because, we may not have time, we are not interested, or it's not a genre we like. So if your book gets turned away, it's not you at all. We promise!
