EGOMANIAC by Vi Keeland
The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.
Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all.
Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated. Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent. I was swindled out of ten grand.
The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place. I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn’t help giving him a piece of my mind. I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do.
The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell, destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages. The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing. And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day.
Another amazing book by Vi Keeland is here and it is one you just don't want to miss.
I just can't with this book.
I laughed so hard at just about everything Drew said and did. He made this book what it is. He was sexy, a dirty talker, and so cocky.
I absolutely loved it.
Vi Keeland had me hooked from the blurb. With Books like this she will continue to be a best selling author.
EgoManiac had everything I come to expected from a book by Vi. It has hot sex scenes, funny characters, and a sexy as sin swoon worthy man.

Not only is this going to be a #1 NYT Best Seller, it's going to be a 2017 top favorite.
I think Vi Keeland could write a telephone directory and I'd read it and still find it amazing lol!
She has topped all her previous books(even Bossman) with this one!
I fell in love with Drew as soon as he opened his mouth. And boy what a sexy mouth he has on him, a dirty, filthy one, but sexy nonetheless ;)
And Emerie was his perfect match in each and every way.I loved watching the slow progress of their relationship from a simmering flame to a full on blaze!
Drew is a divorce attorney and Emerie is a marriage counselor, quite opposite in their beliefs, but the chemistry between them was really good!
The thing that I loved the most about Drew(after his incessant, dirty jokes of course) was the fact that he was unapologetically honest. He didn't beat around the bush or pretend he only wanted a casual relationship later. He says it as he means it and that's quite admirable. His love for Beck was really admirable!
Emerie was witty and feisty in her own way with her unwavering loyalty. The way she got conned in the beginning was hilarious though! :D The way she fit together with Drew and helped him out was just perfect.
Baldwin was a wimp and I don't know what she ever saw in that man.
The plot kinda follows the same style as her previous books and the ones she has co-written with Penelope Ward, where the hero and heroine meet in an unconventional manner and relationship develops from there, though the hero is a little damaged or hiding something.
Don't get me wrong, I loved this book and it's very enjoyable, but probably if in the future the author were to take her stories and writing in a different direction I think it would be even more beautiful and enjoyable! :D
