he book had the makings to be a great book. However, I feel the story was lacking Kane’s perspective greatly. The story was centered around Sydney and the dangers she faced. Kane protecting her was key. Showing his perspective would have made the story much better. I also felt that parts of the story were thrown together for an added effect, but didn’t fit that well. The book itself was well written and is a nice read. Instead of jumping ahead the 15 years, I would have preferred the author write additional books.
