My Review

★★★★☆

**Book provided by author for review.**

This time is the story of Chelsea and Justin. At first it was really hard for me to get into this book because I could not understand why Chelsea disliked Justin so much. The reason for this is because 7 years ago Chelsea wanted Justin to take her to her senior prom but he turned her down. There was a lot of moments where I was a bit confused and lost. It seems that this is a spin off series, while this is a stand alone novel, I wish I would have read the other books first. Once the author cleared up some of my confusion by telling us a little about the passed and the other characters in the book, I was able to really enjoy it.

All of the characters in this book was very lovable. I really loved Justin's personality. All of the flirty banter between him and Chelsea in my opinion is really one of the best parts of the book. With that said,I thought it was kind of sweet that Justin was so eager to get married. There really wasn't anything wrong with this, but it is just something you don't see that often in books, so it actually caught me off guard. I would definitely love to find more books with guys like Justin in them.

Chelsea was an okay character for me. I really enjoyed this book, but why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because of the way Chelsea kept bringing herself down. Chelsea is a plus sized female. Usually I love to read books about plus sized women. But with Chelsea she kept pushing Justin away because of her weight. She kept talking about herself being fat, and she couldn't understand why Justin wanted to be with someone like her. Like I said above, this book was really good, I just couldn't get a feel for Chelsea because of all of the weight issues.

Over all this is a well written book. I really enjoyed all of the background characters. This book ends with a HFN (happy for now), so I am excited to read the next book in the series. I hope some of the other characters that we got to know will also get their own book. This book was very funny, so I hope the other ones will be just as funny if not better. I highly recommend this book. If you like humor, crazy characters, and smoking hot sex scenes, then this is the book for you!

Excerpt

Damn Justin Jacobs and his sexy smile and masculine presence that filled the room, making a
silent yet overpowering demand for attention. Much to Chelsea’s dismay, he had the indecency
to age well. Instead of having wrinkles and gray hair and a beer belly, he looked just as he had
seven years ago with one not so minor difference.
Justin had always been fit, but now he was downright muscular. As he wrapped and banded
the mesh netting around one handful of candy after another, it was hard to miss the basketballs
for biceps and forearms that would have made Popeye jealous. Not to mention his T-shirt
was stretched so tight across his broad chest she expected it to rip from the simple act of his
breathing.

As if all of that wasn’t bad enough, his blue eyes were so intense. The way they lit up with
passion when he talked about his business stirred something more than lust in her. For the first
time, she was impressed with him for a reason that went beyond being good-looking. Justin
had to be intelligent to get a business like his off the ground, and he wasn’t content to sit back
and leave it as is. Over the last couple of hours, with Shayla and Marcy prodding for more
information, he had shared the vision he and Darren had for the future of their business.
With so much going for him, it was hard not to fall back into that trap of being obsessed with
him.
